I tried to reproduce this but for me it works every time. Try deleting the settings (the delete button) and then saving it and press the view button to review the json file, if is all correct you will see the mul.x and mul.y values represented for your specific mouse (look at the name, it will be your color for example "red"). Can you try that for me? Which version are you running?
