I recently tried MouseMux V2 with the goal of using a single mouse to toggle its cursor between multiple screens (each running different applications, e.g., AutoCAD, PDF viewers, and Chrome) via keyboard shortcuts or programmable mouse buttons. While I appreciate the multi-device capabilities of the software, I couldn’t find this specific functionality.
My use case involves comparing document revisions across different applications, where I’d like to:
Quickly switch the same physical mouse’s cursor between screens (one active cursor at a time).
Make temporary annotations (e.g., freehand lines) on each screen to track changes without needing multiple mice.
This would streamline workflows for tasks like design reviews or cross-software comparisons. If this isn’t currently supported, I’d love to see it as a feature in a future update—perhaps as a "cursor toggle mode" alongside the existing multi-mouse functions.
Thank you for your work on this tool! I’d be happy to beta-test or provide additional details if helpful.
Best regards,
